This whole-home remodel on Lake Norman was created for a family who loved their location but needed the house to better support the way they lived. Rather than leave the setting they had grown attached to, they chose to rework the existing home with a more functional layout, updated spaces, and a design that felt personal to their family.

The architectural redesign by Todd Crowe Design and Associates reshaped the home to improve flow, function, and everyday livability. Because cooking and entertaining were such an important part of the family’s lifestyle, the kitchen became a central focus of the renovation. Several of the appliances were handcrafted specifically for the home and delivered from Paris, France, adding a truly custom element to a space designed around their love of cooking.

Throughout the interiors, varying shades of blue were incorporated to reflect the homeowner’s personal style and create a cohesive look throughout the home. Existing eight-foot doors were also replaced with ten-foot doors, allowing more natural light into the space while opening the home to even better views of Lake Norman.
